Have You Been Looking For A Simple Way To Improve Your English Communication And English Writing Skills? Why Not Give THESAURUS in MSWord A Try!
TIP #1: GET TO KNOW THE THESAURUS IN MSWORD
Using more high level words is one sure-fire way to improve you English skills. If you want to use another word instead of TALK because this word is not very interesting or high level you can apply the THESAURUS in MSWord to find a synonym for this AND every other boring word.
I highlighted the word TALK in MS Word.
Click on <TOOLS> in the Word Toolbar. Click on <THESAURUS>. Since talk can be a noun or a verb, when you do that, I got a long list of nouns and verbs to substitute for TALK.
You can translate your favourite words to make sure it’s the same meaning and BINGO, you have just added a new word to your vocabulary. Close the Thesaurus box on the right side and insert the new word that you choose to replace TALK.
EXAMPLES:
OLD SENTENCE: I will TALK with my friends to find out when they can come to my birthday party.
NEW SENTENCE COULD NOW BE: I will CHAT with my friends to find out when they can come to my birthday party.
TIP #2: GET TO KNOW THE DICTATE IN MS WORD
It’s easier to write just like you speak. MS Word has a great function called <DICTATE> in the <HOME> toolbar that will make your writing life so easy. You can speak and it will type what you say. It is very smart. If you say any punctuation mark such as period, comma, colon, semi-colon, question mark, explanation mark, or other punctuation, it usually knows and inserts that punctuation mark with the correct space after. Click <DICTATE> to activate the red speak button.
